SEMINARS

Winner of the Carnegie Professor-of-the-Year Award, Utah Shakespearean Scholar and author of SSC’s 2010 Blood Royal, Dr. Michael Flachmann will teach daylong hands-on, fun and informative seminars for Love's Labour’s Lost, Hamlet and The Tempest. Maren Maclean Mascarelli, Education Director, will guide the seminar on She Stoops to Conquer.

SEMINAR SCHEDULE

- Love's Labour's Lost, Saturday, September 15, 2012.

- Winterfest Repertory performances of Hamlet and

The Tempest, January 12, 2013.

- She Stoops To Conquer, Saturday, April 13, 2013.

SEMINAR LOCATION

First United Methodist Church - Outreach Center

15 East First Avenue, Mesa, Arizona

SEASON TICKET SUBSCRIBERS

One of the “perks” of being a season subscriber is free admission to these seminars. Delving deeper into the Bard’s works gives one a greater understanding of the play. The seminars also give you a sneak peak behind the scenes as you will meet the designers, mingle with the actors, tour the set and stage and have a special talkback with the actors and crew. Teachers, this is an excellent learning tool to take techniques directly back to your classroom. Depending on your district, you may receive ten (10) recertification credits.

ATTENDING A SEMINAR

Reservations are required. The fee for the seminar is $50 for non-subscribers, which includes lunch and your show ticket. Season subscribers pay $10 for lunch. Payment in advance is requested.

Please contact Aleta at agunn@swshakespeare.org or at 480-924-3107 to reserve your spot.
