Southwest Shakespeare Company is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. We appreciate every dollar given and we put every dollar to good use. Ticket revenue covers less than 50% of the cost of mounting a production. Students state-wide pay $7 to see a matinee performance which may cost up to $28 per child to produce. We look to the generosity of community members, businesses, foundations, and government agencies to make up these shortfalls.

Volunteer opportunity: A Midwinter Night’s Dream Gala - February 23, 2008 Our annual fundraiser, A Midwinter Night’s Dream Gala, offers the opportunity for many community members to get involved. It is a festive evening of dining, silent and live auctions and incredible entertainment. Volunteers are needed immediately to assist in a myriad of ways! We want to hear from you! Get involved! If you’ve ever wondered how a show gets from the page to the stage, here’s your chance! Have you wondered what happens to the props and costumes? We have a Shop/Costume/Prop Warehouse that frequently needs to be straightened and sorted and swept! Do you have a particular skill or interest you would like to share?
